The Doctor/Owners:
Joshua A. Carr, Kelly E. Murie and Adam P. Murie are the founders of Coral Canyon Chiropractic. They are brothers (Dr. Carr by marriage) and have proven themselves to be extremely talented and hard working, as well as liked by their patients and peers.
Joshua A. Carr, D.C. is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, the most prestigious Chiropractic school in the world. He is the Chief Operations Officer and sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Gibborim, PLLC, the parent company of Coral Canyon Chiropractic, and is devoted to raising the standard in health and wellness. Dr. Carr developed an intimate interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation after he and his family were hit by a drunk driver. He was selected to receive more extensive training as a Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Intern under Olympic Bobsled trainer and Rehabilitation Expert Dave Juehring, D.C., D.A.C.R.B., C.C.S.P., C.S.C.S. Having excelled in the program, Dr. Carr was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award in Rehabilitation and Sports Injury. Before opening Coral Canyon Chiropractic, he practiced in Las Vegas as an Associate Physician under Dr. Ian Yamane, a member of the Chiropractic Physician’s Board of Nevada and Director of one of the top five Personal Injury Clinics in the State. Through his experience in Physiotherapy and Personal Injury, Dr. Carr feels that he can better help those that have been injured and at times devastated by the effects of a Car Crash. A unique and distinguished accomplishment for a Doctor of Chiropractic, he has been certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (A.B.I.M.E.) and is a graduate of the San Diego Spine Research Institute’s Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program. Dr. Carr is included in Cambridge’s registry of Who’s Who among Health Care Professionals and in 2006 was nominated by the same institution as an International Health Care Provider of the Year.
Kelly E. Murie, D.C. is a graduate of the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic, the birthplace of the profession known as the Harvard of Chiropractic. He is the Chief Marketing Officer and sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Gibborim, PLLC, a company devoted to improving health and wellness through Chiropractic care, nutrition, diet, and exercise. Dr. Murie has a keen interest in technology related to advanced diagnostics and modern spinal rehabilitation. Exciting technological advancements in Spinal Rehabilitation have produced equipment such as Lumbar Decompression for the treatment of disc herniations and Multi Cervical Units for specific Cervical Spine rehabilitation. These are examples of technology that Dr. Murie loves to employ in order to objectively aid each patient on their road to health and wellness. He was among an elite few at Palmer that were members of the American Academy of Chiropractic Physicians and was also recognized with a Clinical Excellence Award in Rehabilitation and Sports Injury. For the first year following his graduation, Dr. Murie was an Associate Doctor under one of the most respected and professional Chiropractors in the state of Nevada, Dr. Roger Russell at Galleria Neck and Back. During his time there, Dr. Murie had the opportunity to be among the principle doctors treating the semi-professional Las Vegas hockey and arena football teams, The Wranglers and The Gladiators respectively. Dr. Murie has been a championship cross country and track runner and still holds a record at his local high school. He plans to work closely with local college, high school and community runners to help them improve their athletic performance.
Adam P. Murie, D.C. attended the fountainhead of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he studied under many of the foremost authorities in the Chiropractic field. He is the Chief Financial Officer and sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Gibborim, PLLC, a company devoted to setting the standard in modern health and wellness. Due to his background in sports such as pole vaulting, tennis, and golf, Dr. Murie pursued more extensive training in Sport Injury while interning with Olympic Bobsled trainer Dr. Dave Juehring. While interning in that department he received the Clinical Excellence Award in Rehabilitation and Sports Injury. Now, finding himself practicing amidst several golfing communities, he enjoys using his experience to literally increase driving distance, increase club speed, decrease fatigue, and increase strength and flexibility among his patients. Dr. Murie was among the first groups of Chiropractors to receive extensive training with the most recent advance in instrument assisted adjusting called the “ProAdjuster”. It is an extremely gentle, but effective way of adjusting the spine with the aide of a computer assisted instrument for those that prefer not to be twisted or cracked. He has found that many patients, who would not otherwise try Chiropractic, benefit tremendously from this advanced technology that can test the spine for problem areas, adjust the spine with a comfortable and computerized tapping instrument, work on muscles with a percussive massage, and recheck the spine following treatment to assure that progress was made.
